For Dawn & Debut themes, the latest themes can be found on these sites below. Because (at least for Dawn), we are making changes to it almost daily, to get the latest version, you need to go to the site below to retrieve your theme:
- Dawn: Dawn Test Store Dev
- Debut: Debut Demo Store
Once in the Shopify dashboard, go to Online Store > Themes. Scroll down to the Theme Library section. The latest version of Debut is labeled "Base - IMR Debut", and the latest version of Dawn is labeled "Base - IMR Dawn"
To retrieve your theme, click on the Actions tab, and Download Theme. It will open a prompt to email the theme. If the email says it's going to
support@imagineretailer.com, this is a problem. Below is the work around to send to your email and not
support@imagineretailer.com
Workaround to get Theme Email:
If the theme is getting mailed to
support@imagineretailer.com, then you will need to go to Settings > Users and permissions. In here, click "Add Staff" and add yourself as a staff member. Then sign in at
https://accounts.shopify.com with the email address you used to create your staff member. Go back to the theme, and click Download Theme again. This will now send it to the email address you used to add yourself as a staff member.
Installing Theme:
Once you have the theme, go to the Shopify site where it will be uploaded. Go to Online Store > Themes, scroll down to Theme Library and click Add Theme ... drag and drop the theme zip file into the box. Once uploaded, do not publish the theme yet (the Online Specialist will built it out and publish it when ready). Once uploaded, rename the theme (if using Dawn, name it IMR Dawn) & (if using Debut, name it IMR Debut).
